Blizzard Saddle Bags

LIGHT WEIGHT, TOUGH, WATERPROOF AND MODULAR

Waterproof without the need for covers or additional dry bag

ADAPT IT TO YOUR NEEDS

You do not carry the same stuff if you are out for a tough weekend in the mountains with your hard enduro or f you are on a leisure trip with your touring bike, right? That’s why we choose a modular approach for the Blizzard Saddle Bags.

On the underside of your Blizzard Saddle Bags, the two compression straps can easily be converted into an interface to attach a Bottle Holster, XC Basepack or a Fender Bag (size M or L only). Like this you can add 2 x 1.5 liter additional volume, 2 x 1 litre fuel or a combination of both.

On top of the Blizzard Saddle Bags, there is placement to attach two more Bottle Holsters to increase the range of your hard enduro.

The rear of your bike remains free to attach a Tornado 2 Pack Sack. If you are planning on going out into the wild, you can chose a Rally Pack or any XS Base Pack, in order not to limit your freedom of movement.

MADE TO GETT OFF THE BEATEN TRACKS

The Blizzard Saddle Bags feature an innovative shape, which will not restrict your movement whilst riding off road. If you lean to the rear during steep descents, the bags will not interfere with your calves. The bags will not get entangled in the scrub, since there are no unnecessary straps on the outside of the bags. Last
but not least, they are made of our extremely durable 3-layer fabric, all straps are double stitched and the front straps’ buckles are good for up to 225kg.

First impression

First of all, I have to say that the quality of the bags are excellent, after that, I did only one demo ride with my large blizzard and xl tornado bag combo in my Honda cb500x and it work very well.

The large size fits the T7 perfect. This style of this saddle bag does not interfere with the rider at all. The design also keeps the weight as low as possible. The top of the saddle bag is flush with the top of the rear seat. This allows there to be a waterproof duffle bag used across the top of the saddle bags and the rear seat. Great fit for the T7!

Seem like a great value

I just mounted the large bags on my DR 650. The bags seem really well made for any price point, but especially at $350. Plenty of room and straight forward mounting.

Great Bags if you leave them on

There is so much to love about these bags.
Here is just a couple of reasons
- red lining making it easy to find items in the bag.
-shape of bag allows for it not to interfere with getting off and on the bike and also allows for standing position riding off road.
-waterproof. And several sizes to choose from for your personal needs.
The drawback was in the way they attached to the bike. (IMO) the best way was to go under the seat in order to secure bags making them harder to be “taken”. But this also makes them harder to bring up to a hotel room.
Also the side straps had to be secured in several locations. This also makes it a chore to remove from the bike when bike is in for service or again if you want to take into hotel. My Solve for hotel is: I put items in a bag and then bag in side the saddle bag. Or just carry a collapsible bag and you can load it up with contents of saddle bag. This may not be an issue depending on your use.
