Designed by riders. No corporate suits allowed.
We don’t run Enduristan from a fancy, glass-walled office. We are a small, privately owned Swiss company of riders, engineers, and overland travelers. If we aren't at our desks in Switzerland refining designs, testing new prototypes, or shipping gear, we are out on the trails testing our gear in situations where "good enough" is a liability.
David didn't care about motorcycles until his girlfriend (now wife), Isabel, got a Honda CM125 for her 18th birthday. Refusing to be the guy on a pushbike chasing a motorcycle, David bought a beat-up Kawasaki KMX 125 and immediately proceeded to dream of the open road (or, rather, off-road).
Those little 125CC bikes somehow survived a brutal trek through the Tunisian Sahara, sparking a lifelong obsession. David eventually graduated to a KTM 640 Adventure, riding it through the Alps, the Sahara, and the deep Australian outback—where the idea for Enduristan was first born in the dust. Today, he steers the company and plans to continue thrashing his customized KTM 690 Enduro R.
Jonas has been a menace to polite society since the tender age of 14, modifying and riding bikes starting with a Puch X30 NS moped and occasionally "borrowing" his brother’s KTM LC4 when nobody was looking. His obsession with the dirt has taken him across the globe—from technical enduro riding in Indonesia to rugged overland tours in Italy, France, and Mexico.
As our Product Designer since 2023, Jonas brings real-world abuse to the drafting table. When he isn't nerding out on luggage designs, he’s racing flat track, engineering barbeque setups out of worn sprockets, and competing in rallies on his Husqvarna 701 or tackling technical single-track on his Husqvarna TE 300i.
Eglė started riding motorcycles entirely by accident in Peru, buying her first bike—a magnificent, no-brand 150cc steed—from a washing machine shop in Nazca. That questionable purchase sparked a fifteen-year journey of living on two wheels across the Americas and Europe while fueling her gas tank by writing for travel and motorcycle publications thanks to her background in journalism and an undying curiosity about the ways of the world.
Obsessed with raw storytelling and real human connections, Eglė is our new marketing director who secretly hates traditional marketing. She is usually found furiously typing on her laptop, listening to riders' stories, or occasionally going AWOL to scout an obscure dirt trail in Colombia or Nepal.
Gion is our semi-resident digital wizard, currently working behind the scenes to make sure our online store works better for you. When he isn’t optimizing code or untangling server knots at a pace nobody else on the team can keep up with, he is busy turning his garage into a launchpad.
Gion is currently modifying his Suzuki DR650 thumper for an open-ended, two-wheeled escape to Kyrgyzstan. Ask him what his final destination is, and he’ll tell you he is deciding on the fly—Central Asia is the starting point, but whether he ends up in Southeast Asia, Indonesia, or somewhere else entirely is a mystery to everyone including himself.
Enduristan is still fully privately owned by the founders David and Isabel Jenni, Christoph von Ow and Stefano Bucher.
